  Superior and compassionate veterinary care at affordable prices. I had been taking my aging dog Kua’ to a veterinarian clinic in a pet store chain for years; often questioning not only the quality of care, but whether suggested treatment was necessary. So after a complex health issue arose, I sought out Dr. Jackie Rinta for a second opinion. She and her clinic staff were stellar, and my dog was much more at ease in this office than I had ever seen her before. Dr. Rinta listened carefully to the symptoms, performed additional examinations that had never been done at the other clinic, while showing great care and compassion for both my pet, myself and my financial situation. She found an issue with my dog that was not previously discovered, and did not find evidence of other issues that had been misdiagnosed. Most importantly, I felt as if she was taking care of Kua’ with the same care and concern that she would her own pet. Not long afterwards, Kua’ was diagnosed with cancer and her condition began to decline. During one bad episode, I was on the verge of hysterics, but Dr. Rinta calmly talked me through checking her vitals over the phone. As it became clear that Kua’ would pass, she gave me confidence that I could inject Kua’ with the fluids necessary to keep her comfortable. In the end, it was clear that Kua’ wanted to pass on her own terms and it was an incredibly bonding experience for both of us. She passed relatively peacefully in my arms. I’m very grateful to the staff at The Neighborhood Pet Clinic for facilitating that. I highly recommend them.

  Dr. Christine Johnson and her Vet Tech., Laura, have been our Labrador's favorite peeps since day 1! She gets so excited when we are about a half a mile away. They have done all of her procedures and are always thorough in their explanations before and after so there are no surprises. (My lab has had an interesting and curious first year, so they all know her pretty well) :-) The entire staff is great! Always helpful, knowledgeable and they put up with me! Saylor's reaction every time she sees them says it all. She will never go anywhere else! She loves them and so do we! Thank You!!!
