- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Update 11/7/17: Just back from the Vet (that Alley Cat referred me to) they confirmed that my puppy is as young as 6wks (not nearly the 8wks that Alley Cat said) he's full of tape worms. Alley Cat gave him a dewormer BUT its not a broad spectrum so it didnt kill the type of worms he has. So I paid the vet to give him to correct dewormer. For the many years the owner has been selling puppies he should've known that a puppy with NO teeth isnt nearly 8wks old... shame on you. Just bought a Shih tzu on Friday (11/3)night. The young lady that helped me was so sweet and extremely helpful. My only worry is that i was told that the puppy is nearly 8 weeks but he just got his 1st baby tooth. I have his vet appt set up.
