  Dr. Nordahl is an amazing dentist; a real perfectionist! She always takes the time to explain things to me clearly and I like the fact that she has my best interests in mind and see the long term.

  Worst experience ever! I had to have a crown on one of my back molars and after paying a substantial amount of money or for my out-of-pocket portion , the pain was worse than before I have the crown. Not to mention that during the procedure the dentist dropped the crown in the back of my mouth and I almost swallowed it. After this I went back on several occasions complaining about sensitivity to Hot and Cold and the fact that the crown was too short and didn't meet the gum line. The dentist agreed but told me that this was typical of a crown and that there was nothing that I could do about it and I would just have to deal with the constant pain. I have since seen a different dentist and was told that the crown will need to be replaced and that this in fact was not normal. I now have to pay again a substantial amount of money out of pocket to have that same crown to be redone all because Gentle Dental did it incorrectly

  I went here once and my visit was fine. I had originally wanted my son to observe so that when he went to the dentist maybe he wouldn't be so scared, but they said no. The visit was short, no cavities and then I got my teeth cleaned. I work odd hours and days so I never schedule appointments in advance, I always tell them that I'll give them a call when it's getting time for a check-up. I lost my job about a month prior to needing to return. The dental hygienist called me to set up an appointment and when I told her I had lost my job and my insurance and subsequently wouldn't be able to make an appointment she laid into me about the importance of getting my teeth cleaned on a regular basis. I politely declined a visit, but told her that I would make an appointment when I got a job and insurance. I got a phone call at least once a week, sometimes daily from her telling me that I needed to come in to get my teeth cleaned. She would call in the wee hours of the morning until late at night. I stopped answering my phone and listed her number as "crazy dentist-don't answer," when she got my voice-mail, she would leave 5 minute long voice-mails, just incessantly repeating herself over and over again. She kept referring to me as her "friend." She kept saying that I was wasting her time and so since I'm wasting her time, she is going to keep leaving me the longest voice-mails my phone would accept. She would often state, "if you don't want me calling and bugging you, just call me and tell me to take you out of my service," so I would call and say please stop calling me, but the calls continued. I would sometimes answer the phone but just immediately hang up, but that seemed to infuriate her into calling me more and leaving me longer voice-mails. I told her that I had moved away, but she still insisted I come and see her. The calls continued for almost 2 years and then one day I got a phone call from someone else at the office asking me if I needed to set up an appointment and I told her I moved out of state (which is untrue) and she asked if she wanted me to remove my file and I said YES!! It's been 2 weeks and so far I haven't received a phone call, but I can't help but wonder if it's only a matter of time!!
