  Had the most bizarre and, frankly, upsetting interaction with a healthcare professional (or any professional, for that matter) of my life recently with Dr. Koh. I won't lay out the entire episode here but the short version is that this doctor was an awful listener, he constantly talked over (actually, shouted over) his patient, didn't answer his patient's questions, and was incredibly confrontational. The entire interaction was SOOOOOO surreal, I still have no idea what triggered his ranting. Even without the ranting (about the Canadian healthcare system...whaaaat????? how did he get on that tangent???), his bedside manner was awful. Not even a "how are you feeling", a "I'm sorry to hear you're in so much pain", or a "hope you feel better soon". To top it off, we've since discovered he put all kinds of treatment recommendations in his chart notes that he didn't even mention to his patient during his visit. Sooooo...he also can't be trusted to make an accurate record of your health care, obviously more interested in covering is own tail. I have all kinds of close friends and family members who are healthcare professionals -- doctors, surgeons, anaesthesiologists, physical therapists, naturopaths, nurses, physicians' assistants, etc, etc. I get this is difficult work and would never consider writing a review of a physician who might come off a bit short or curt or distracted, because sometimes a human is just having a stressful or extra hard day. But this doctor was straight up unhinged and I will be reporting him, not just writing a Google review.
